The proposal by students from the Bachelor in Design, best Christmas shop window for local businesses in Barcelona
The proposal by students Judit Sánchez, Martina Tatjé, Asha Torrubia, and Georgina Febré from the Bachelor in Design and Innovation has won the prize for the best shop window in the competition ‘Els llums de Nadal il·luminen el comerç,’ promoted by Barcelona Creativity & Design Foundation with the support of the Barcelona City Council. This latest edition of the competition has revitalized and innovated local commerce in Barcelona’s Sant Antoni and Poble-Sec neighborhoods, with the participation of ten design schools and ten shops from each neighborhood.
In Poble-Sec, the Elisava students, tutored by Marta Ayala Herrera, designed the window display for the Fil i Fet shop, which won first prize in the competition. In Sant Antoni, students from the Escola Superior de Disseny i d’Arts Plàstiques de Catalunya also took first place for their work on the shop window of the P. Balañá Vives pharmacy.
You can visit this and other Christmas shop windows until January 7 and take part in the public vote to determine the citizens’ favorite shop window. More information here.
