Dr. Romualdo Gondomar is a professor of the University Degree in Design and the Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Design and Communication. In addition, throughout the twenty years of teaching experience he has also taught in the University Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and the former Graduate in Design. In the period 2000-2011 he held different positions of academic coordination in the studies of Degree in Design and in the former University Degree in Design: Teaching Coordinator of Curricular Itineraries and Final Project of Studies, Teaching Coordinator of Degree and postgraduate, as well as of Professional Areas and Final Degree Project. She has been a member of the Drafting Report of the Plan of Studies of the University Degree in Design and of the Committee of Evaluation and Accreditation of the Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Design and Communication.

As a collaborating professor, he has taught at the Postgraduate Programme in Research and Design Management at ISEC Lisboa, Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências.

He served as Head of Programming of the Año del Diseño 2003 of Barcelona, ​​an event managed by the FAD (Promotion of Arts and Design) and promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology; the Generalitat de Catalunya (Department of Culture, Center for Innovation and Business Development, CIDEM, Department of Labor, Industry, Commerce and Tourism) and the City of Barcelona. Between 2002 and 2003 more than 250 activities were programmed and organized in Barcelona and other cities of the State (exhibitions, debates, competitions, congresses and conferences) related to the different areas of graphic design, product design, fashion, audiovisual design, architecture and jewelry.

He has participated in the tutoring and development of several projects related to interaction, ergonomics and virtual reality collaborating with institutions such as TMB, the Hospital Sant Joan de Deu or the Museu Nacional Arqueològic of Tarragona.

His fields of research relate various disciplines and theoretical areas of knowledge related to pragmatism, communication, design, interaction and technological advances in digital environments.
