Rafael García Escarré is PhD in Entrepreneurship tech-base from Universidad Ramon Llull; Telecommunications Engineer from UPC; and Electronic Engineer from La Salle-Ramon Llull University. Additional education of Innovation and Business Management at IMD/MIT (Switzerland), IESE, and ESADE.
I am a business entrepreneur. Passionate for innovation, creating new things with a business sense is my main motivator. Nowadays, I am helping other start-ups (in-house or through corporate venturing processes) to define their value proposal, strategies, grow their business, get funding, and create teams and processes. I collaborate with them as an early investor, as a member of their Board of Directors, as an Advisor or as a Mentor.
I co-created several successful companies: Co-owner and Board Member at Userzoom (2007), UserZoom is the #1 Platform for Agile Usability Testing & User Experience Analytic with offices in 4 different countries; the company was acquired by USA Fund Trident in 2015. Co-founder and CEO of Infinity Comunicaciones, a leading CRM company, acquired by Vocalcom in 2007. Co-founder and CEO at Orbita97 (1997), a professional service company specialized in developing organizational creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship for renowned brands (Repsol, Novartis, Telefonica, Solvay, AMGEN, Cuatrecasas, Bayer, or Nestlé).
I am now co-owner, and/or CEO in 101 Ventures, 5G Ventures, and several tech-based companies; Board Member in different companies, some of which operate in Europe, Asia and EEUU.
