nacho-gomez
Film director, documentary filmmaker, and photographer with more than two decades of international experience. He has collaborated with production companies across Europe, America, and Asia, receiving awards such as FAD, SIMA, and recognition at advertising festivals in San Sebastián, Málaga, Havana, and Buenos Aires. He combines his creative work with teaching at Elisava and other institutions, exploring the relationship between audiovisual storytelling, emotion, and critical thinking.

From his studio, he develops advertising, documentary, and photographic projects for brands, institutions, and international production companies. His work focuses on creative direction, visual storytelling, and the aesthetic exploration of the moving image.

His methodology combines practice, analysis, and constant dialogue. Classes are conceived as dynamic and participatory spaces where students build confidence, learn by doing, and develop their own visual identity. He believes creativity emerges from enjoyment, reflection, and the ability to transform reality through the camera and audiovisual narrative.
