Nacho Gómez
Codirector of the Master’s Degree in Design and Audiovisual Creativity

Graduated from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) and specialized in photography and cinematographic lighting. His final project, “Pura”, a documentary shot in Singapore, won the FAD Award for Best Documentary in 1999.
Since 2003, he has been making television commercials for various brands. He has won awards at festivals such as the San Sebastián Advertising Festival, with his piece “El sol”, the Malaga Advertising Festival and the “Ojo de Iberoamérica”.
His ad for the Afanoc Foundation, with thousands of views on Youtube, has been shortlisted in the Cannes Advertising Festival.
His documentary works “Familia Ayara” and “The Walls” shot in Colombia and the United States have won awards at the Sima Festival in Los Angeles and the Unaff Festival in San Francisco.
He currently combines advertising and documentary projects with teaching at different universities in Barcelona.
