Maria Visa
Professor of the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering
Graduated in Industrial Design Engineering from Elisava (2011), she expands her studies in Biomedical Engineering and Organization Engineering at the UB and UPC. Simultaneously, she began working in the industrial maintenance sector and later as a freelance in project management. She expands her professional experience in the field of artificial vision at MCVision (Vallès Science Park) specialized in the biomedical sector until 2016.
She began working in the field of technical sales as Commercial Director of the MIM Group and combined her professional activity with being a professor at Elisava. At the beginning of 2019, she decided to create his own company, MTS tech, dedicated to the automation of internal movements through collaborative mobile robotics. In 2020, MTS tech developed the MTS UVC disinfection robot to help fighting the Covidi-19 pandemic. This design becomes part of the Emergencies! exhibition of the Design Museum of Barcelona.
