She started developing her engineering competences when she was very young and she currently has a background of more than 20 years of extensive collaboration with companies and creative orientation in engineering and design studies acting as project manager at national and international level. Among her most outstanding projects are clients such as Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Gallina Blanca, Shell, l’Oréal, Coca Cola Company and Ajuntament de Barcelona.
She has specialized in design strategies and methodologies for innovation. Her project focus is on working from the speculative and creative process that allows scientific-technological knowledge, on exploring these contexts with the aim of developing disruptive proposals in future scenarios and on considering that the human body is a vital part of this thought. In the last years she has been focusing on application areas related to Smart Ink, Printed Electronics, Functional Textiles, human-integrated nanobiosensory and applications of graphene materials. This work has given basis to her doctoral thesis, which studies the “new paradigms of design susceptible to abolish physical limits of the matter before the current change of technological age”. In parallel, she has participated in national and international congresses and has published articles related to his research in these fields. She has been and is part of several European research projects, Horizon 2020 and the Generalitat de Catalunya. She belongs to the emerging HIMTS group of Elisava Research. She eventually collaborates as a mentor and adviser in social innovation and technological entrepreneurship programs.
She firmly believes that “in this life everything is a matter of attitude” and that “we live in an infinite series of new beginnings … where the value lies in the liberalization of physical things and the overcoming of our emotional challenges”.
