Dra. Anna Alcubierre
Associate Lecturer, Bachelor in Design and Innovation
A designer and project director with over fifteen years of experience in the fields of design, creative direction, and the management of cultural and educational projects. She currently leads projects at alcubierrestudio, while also teaching at EINA, the University Center for Design and Art in Barcelona, where she has been a professor since 2010.
She has taught at the Institut del Teatre, where she has taught courses related to design and the direction of theatrical projects, and has developed design and direction projects at Espai e and Lavola, working in multidisciplinary environments that integrate design, sustainability, and visual communication.
She holds a Bachelor in Interior Design from EINA and a PhD in Education from the University of Girona, with research focused on cultural cooperation and development, offering a critical and cross-disciplinary perspective on the role of design in social and educational contexts.
