Students of the Master in Art Direction and New Narratives present a photographic fanzine as a result of their experience in Iceland
The students of the Master in Art Direction and New Narratives have designed and curated the first edition of the MADNN Magazine, a publication delves into the theme of control through six conceptualizations approaching the topic and its limits.
What would it look like if you had to visualize it? Does it hold the same attributes in its various facets? Is one able to control its meaning? Just how deep and wide is it able to present itself among people, objects, nature, and others?
All of this is explored through analogue photography, written word and editorial design by the 18 students from Elisava’s first edition of the Master in Art Direction and New Narratives who ventured to Iceland on an exploratory escapade along with their course directors Lucia Colombo and Bernard Arce.
Students and course directors have spent five days in the Westfjords, in Iceland, bringing their chosen concepts to life.
The mag is a result of this field trip and the student’s editorial exploration, holding 6 articles and a detailed chronicle of what transpired during the experience.
