Student of the Degree in Design Jana Valdé, winner of the poster contest to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Documenta bookstore

Jana Valdé, student of the Undergraduate Degree in Design and Innovation (Mention in Graphic Design) has won the poster design contest organised by the Documenta bookstore to commemorate its 50th anniversary.

First of all, Elisava has organized the workshop ‘Poster Design Competition’, where 14 students of the Graphic Design Mention of the Degree in Design and Innovation have participated with the aim of responding to the brief proposed by the bookstore. The first internal jury of Elisava, formed by professors Lluís Sallés, Francesc Ribot and Quim Moreno, has selected 22 proposals, which have been presented to the final phase of the contest.

Among the 22 final proposals of Elisava students, the jury, formed by Eric del Arco and Josep Cots, Documenta booksellers; Llucia Ramios, cultural journalist and writer; Pilar Aymerich, photographer; Xavier Roca, professor of graphic design at Elisava, and Quim Moreno, professor at Elisava and coordinator of the project, has proclaimed winner Jana Valdé, who has received a prize of 500 €. Also, the students Robert Ferrari and Ingrid Blancafort were in second and third place, respectively. The three projects will be exhibited at Documenta bookstore during the month of November.
