Marta Janeras
Head of the Development and Simulation Area of the Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Design Engineering

Marta graduated in Theoretical Physics (UB) and has a Master’s Degree in Numerical Methods in Engineering (UPC). She is a professor at Elisava since 1997of several subjects STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths). She is also a specialist in computational mechanics and finite elements method and she works with CAE simulation at a teaching and research level.
Over the last years, she has been responsible of the Science and Technology Lab of the School, motivating an open lab to all Elisava community and a teaching based on experimentation. She is currently the coordinator of the Development and Simulation Area of the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering. She is a professor and the coordinator of the Postgraduate in Product Development of Elisava since its first edition.
