Cristina graduated in Environmental Sciences from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His final degree project was part of a collaboration between the UAB and Elisava for the eco-design of fast food packaging. She has worked as a researcher in leading groups in the application of ecodesign and life cycle analysis (Elisava, ICTA-UAB, UNESCO-ESCI Chair), developing R&D projects at the national and international level. In 2012, she obtained a doctorate in Environmental Science and Technology from the UAB and, later, she completed a postgraduate degree in Business Management at UPF. In 2019, she completed a Master’s Degree in Publishing at the Editorial Àtic dels Llibres.
She has been deputy director of the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change and responsible for circular economy in Lavola – Anthesis. Since March 2019, she is a part-time professor at Elisava and a freelance senior consultant.
