Dra. Belén de Sancristóbal
Professor of the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering

Degree in Physics and Master in Biophysics from the University of Barcelona. These studies marked her research career, specializing in brain research based on mathematical models and experimental analysis. Doctorated in 2013 from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, she has worked as a researcher at the University of Ottawa (Canada), Pompeu Fabra University and IDIBAPS.
Her research has dealt with communication between brain areas, the integration of sensory stimuli, the variability of neural signals between individuals and the neural mechanisms that explain cognitive differences throughout the sleep-wake cycle. From 2021 she works as a full professor in Elisava, giving classes in the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering.
