COmmunicating COmplexity is an international network that aims to explore languages, approaches and technologies to respond to the emerging need to make complex information accessible through design.

Generated by a consortium of European universities that in 2011 will begin collaborating on the InformAnimation project, and by partner universities active in the teaching and research of visual design, COmmunicating COmplexity aims to become a point of international reference for research and education in the communication of complexity through our new media.

The conference took place on July 3, 4 and 5 and will include guests such as Jose Duarte, designer and founder of easydataviz, or Pau Garcia, one of the founders of Domestic Data Streamers.

Furthermore, the event presented projects by students and professionals who contribute and contribute focuses on exploratory experiences in courses, final projects and case studies based on design and methodologies and professional areas. The call included two types of contributors: full track, dedicated to formal presentations of academics and professional professionals, and junior track, for postgraduate students, doctoral students or young researchers, among others.
