Temes de Disseny is an annual scientific journal, originally created in 1986 as a place for Elisava researchers to share their work with one another.
Over the years, the publication has branched out to explore, from an analytical perspective, the relationship between design and other fields, including technology, economics, communication and culture. The journal aims to promote and strengthen design as a research discipline.
The current and upcoming issues are also a watershed moment for the publication. As of now, it is undergoing a transformation process to become an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that allows designers all over the world to share their knowledge with one another.
