The Reef Hotel

Conceptual room for the Reef Hotel. This room seeks to capture the concept of the reef through the interior design, within it stands out the front block of the closet, which through its shapes, concave and convex, generates full and empty volume and light, typical of a reef; which in turn covers the activities that take place in the room. The elements used in this space are abstractions of color and shapes of this marine skeleton. A palette of light colors was used for the resting spaces and coral and vibrant colors for the activity spaces. All furnishings were custom designed to generate a harmony and fluidity that allowed for two room typologies. Generating open and closed environments that resemble these marine shelters was the cornerstone of the design.
