Seeds
“Seeds” is a project based on the cooperation between human and non-human to co-design the future. An opportunity to work with other living systems that arises from the fusion of material science, biology, art and design, allowing to draw a more sustainable future. The role of the designer changes from a receiver of materials to a creator, promoting a new way of designing and involving the user in all the production processes of the garment.
Through a system of local production and root control, “Seeds” manages to create a link between the consumer and the garment, and generate a real alternative to fast fashion, promoting the use of materials of renewable and biological origin as an alternative to the fabrics of the current textile industry.
