Remnants of Greed
The perfume industry commercializes with dreams and aspirations. Manipulating the codes of desire, they create a need. We are beings driven by desire, because it is our driving force. However, its destructive power leaves a trail of rests. ¿What do the rests of desire smell like? ‘Remnants’ is a perfume that explores the consequences that are left once something one desires is destroyed with a series of collections that consider different forms of desire.
Its first collection, 01 Greed, explores desire through greed. This feeling is represented in a ceramic sculpture that is destroyed. This is how the cracks that the perfume contains are born. The project sells a reflection on human nature and the eternal cycle of creation and destruction in life.
