As climate change intensifies and food systems face increasing pressure, younger generations are also facing growing financial uncertainty. Rising living costs and unclear retirement prospects are reshaping how people plan for the future, creating a need for solutions that address both environmental sustainability and long-term economic security. These overlapping challenges reveal an opportunity to rethink how financial systems can play a more active role in supporting resilient and regenerative futures.

The Regen Fund responds by connecting retirement savings with regenerative agriculture. It proposes a financial model that directs investments toward new farmers adopting regenerative practices, helping to restore soil health and strengthen local food systems. Participants build their personal savings while contributing to ecological stewardship and community resilience. By linking individual financial planning with the long-term health of food systems, the project reframes saving for retirement as a shared investment in environmental and social wellbeing.
