Ponder
‘Ponder’. Rereading Museum Spaces
‘Ponder’ consists of large letters and messages that serve both as seats and wayfinding tools. The goal is to improve the comfort, safety, and welcome of users in museum spaces, seeking to eliminate feelings of intimidation and austerity.
The project breaks away from the traditional seriousness of museums through a tactile and visually soft materiality, accessible and informal verbal communication, curious perspectives, bright colors, and an international typography. This interdisciplinary approach results in a friendly and playful outcome that aims to transform museums into safe spaces.
