Nomad

Framed in a digital society based on individualism, Nomad aims to reclaim the lack of community in big cities. By creating a unique stool aimed at young millennials, Nomad proposes to recover a more relaxed and beneficial lifestyle for the individual that encourages socialization, and in turn, contributes to generate a moment of (de)digitalization.
The product was born as a result of the analysis of the lifestyle in the Senegalese streets, a country in which the habit of occupying the public road with everyday objects is still very latent. Based on the collection and study of images obtained through Google Maps, the analysis identifies new geometries, functionalities and concepts that, evolved, will give rise to Nomad.

Made entirely from recycled plastic from this same territory, “Nomad” has been designed to last over time and contribute to the fight against single-use products and their negative consequences on the environment.
