‘Menstrual Matter Jewels’ is an innovative project developed in a context where menstruation is still considered a taboo subject, despite the fact that many women regularly live with it.
This project aims to create a collection of jewellery made from menstrual blood that breaks the taboos and stigmas associated with menstruation. By revaluing menstrual blood as a potential resource for product design, the aim is to visualise the power of object diffusion and to claim a paradigm shift in which it is possible to significantly influence social perceptions of the menstrual cycle.
