Matter make Design
“Matter make Design” is a project that proposes to put matter to the limit by generating new market opportunities based on the unification of different methodical disciplines. To this end, a working diagram has been designed, influenced by the selection of four ways of design, where the designer must demonstrate his ability to generate a holistic vision, providing value to scientific society, and giving rise to new material contextualizations within product design.
Starting from carbon, the most abundant element in nature, PIELVIVA is created. A design focused on provoking thought of change in society, through a speculative product that works a new concept of exoskeleton following the line of material ecology in a medical context. PIELVIVA is an ultra-wearable skin adhesive capable of reversing muscle functionality in a case of partial dysfunction, by means of a bio-polymeric matrix.
