“A calm man is like a tree that gives shade, those who need his refuge approach him”.
Taking into account the symbolism of the tree, and its representation of life, strength and refuge, the ground floor (day centre) symbolizes the roots, which give meaning and foundation to Asisted's work. The vertical circulation is resolved as a helical staircase, which, like a trunk, rises towards the sky and represents firmness. On the first and second floors, there are offices, branches and their innumerable bifurcations that allow us to walk through the entire space, and coloured furniture so that these two levels together represent life and dynamism. We propose an accessible, serene space, in which users come into contact with nature, and in which, as in a tree, they can find a great refuge under its branches.
