Barcelona and the surrounding region are increasingly affected by extreme droughts, exposing the fragility of existing water systems and the urgency of rethinking how this vital resource is managed and valued. This reality also raises deeper questions about governance, ownership, and a long-standing human relationship with water rooted in control and extraction rather than mutual dependence. While the need to rethink water systems operates at an infrastructural and political scales, it also begins at home, in the everyday habits that often go unnoticed. H2Oh! is an interactive exhibition that makes domestic water use tangible and visible, translating abstract consumption into lived experience. Through playful installations and engaging data visualizations, the project reveals how and where water is used in the household, inviting visitors to reflect on their role within a broader system. As a first step toward reshaping our relationship with water, H2Oh! encourages a shift from passive consumption to more conscious, responsible stewardship. The project was also presented at the 2024 Barcelona Design Week.
