Visual impairment, a condition in which an amount of vision useful for daily life is retained, affects millions of people worldwide, worsening their quality of life by reducing their independence in tasks such as reading. Our project addresses this problem by challenging the traditional concept of legibility, moving away from standardization and normalization in search of a broader approach. The result is a typographic, parametric and multivariable product capable of adapting to diverse visual conditions and contexts. Ivy Flex is a universal design that balances functionality and aesthetics.
