Emotion in Motion
‘Emotion in Motion’ is an exploration of how to connect physical communication and CGI (computer-generated imagery) to highlight gestures as identity elements that are crucial across multiple industries. The class worked under three different briefs, this one consisting in developing a functional tool for the pediatric medical environment Sant Joan de Déu Hospital to showcase complex emotions that pose challenges both in identification and visual expression, such as eagerness, provocation, remorse, pressure, inadequacy, and feeling valued. The outcome consists of human-like figures that transform their composition and appearance according to the emotion they are experiencing.
