E-calm
This project focuses on the prevention of pressure ulcers in patients with reduced mobility. A transparent bioplastic dressing has been developed that allows early detection of skin lesions. The main objective is to address the challenge of pressure ulcers by providing an effective solution that is compatible with the methods used in healthcare facilities.
The design of the dressing has been anatomically optimised to fit the foot area. Further research is suggested to optimise the industrialisation of the product and explore the integration of natural materials and conductive technology in future improvements.
