The project focuses on the development of a compact laboratory machine capable of manufacturing sustainable multifilaments made of cellulose using the wet spinning technique. The proposed machine integrates 3D printers and existing machinery concepts, seeking to minimize material waste and improve sustainability in the textile industry.
The goal is to validate and optimize the production of these yarns on a small scale before its transfer to industrial scale. This project not only defends innovation and efficiency in the production of sustainable materials, but also responds to the growing demand of the market for eco-friendly and ethically manufactured textile products.
