Cuando sea grande

As Barcelona’s population ages, the challenge is not only demographic but cultural. Aging is often framed through stereotypes of decline, dependency, and social invisibility. This project investigates how these narratives shape the experiences of older adults and influence how younger generations imagine their own futures. In response, the project proposes a portfolio of design interventions aimed at shifting how aging is perceived and discussed in society. These interventions explore new ways to foster intergenerational dialogue, challenge stereotypes, and highlight the diversity of aging experiences.
