Caliu
‘Caliu’ is a therapeutic tool for patients between the ages of 12 and 18 who suffer from mental disorders and reside in a Day Hospital during their therapeutic process. This tool generates a direct accompaniment between the patient and the closest external agents (family, friends) who at that moment cannot ensure a physical presence during the recovery process.
Through technologies integrated into the garment, this physical contact is facilitated, since in moments of solitude hugs heal, comfort, generate peace and improve the mood. In this way, a space of security is generated in the patient in moments of sadness and loneliness.
