‘Blust’ is a medical device made of a Transport Unit and a Charging Unit. It is designed to transport blood samples in remote regions of Africa. Blood samples must travel hundreds of kilometers through wild terrain under extreme conditions, maintaining a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Frequent lack of stable electricity impedes the generation of cold, causing the samples to become unusable.
Protective unit made with a highly resistant textile cover, equipped with multifunctional accessories and an integrated ergonomic support. The robust design ensures the protection of the maintenance unit and the storage of blood samples against impacts and adverse weather conditions.
The interior is composed of a modular system that acts as a thermal bridge between the UC and medical equipment, optimizing the available space without compromising the integrity and protection of the samples.
