Bleh! (Ode to the tongue)
‘Bleh!, Ode to the tongue,’ is a treat for macroglossia. Inspired by the condition of the author’s sister, it aims to prevent tooth loss in children aged 3 to 5 with macroglossia. It manifests itself through the onomatopoeic sounds “Bleh!”, “Aaah” and “Mmh”, representing the genius of human tongues and as an ode to them.
Like one of the sweets we used to eat in the playground, but with a medical purpose: to turn obligation into desire. A collection of edible candies that stimulate tongue proprioception and accompany tongues born with hypotonia. A therapeutic and sensory design that does not seek to correct but to listen and celebrate.
