Biopsias consists on studying the personal identity and the process of self-definition through identification and comparison. It could be defined as a fragmented self-portrait, in which the use of the metaphor binds together both elements included in each diptych. They are both signified and redefined.
Biopsias deepens into the poetic act that allows a definition entirely personal and honest. Social labels are put aside in order to look for and find in another element a meaning in which the person recognizes itself and can compare itself. Through the use of the metaphor like intern expression and the use of comparison as the way of defining oneself, selecting human elements and extern elements and framing them on laboratory plaques for its photographic an poetic study.
