Amalgama

AMALGAMA is a restaurant designed especially for the renowned chef Carles Abellán. The concept was born from the idea of merging the chef’s personal life with his gastronomic career, focusing on his great interest in oenology. The idea of pairing allows us to conceive a space designed to create different experiences for the user, harmoniously linking different spatial and gastronomic components, like a symphony orchestra, where the conductor is the chef. Thus was born AMALGAMA, a new gastronomic concept with spaces as diverse as a store of products related to the world of wine, a double height bar where to have a few drinks with endless options of pairings between tapas, wines and craft beers, a large area of “fine dining”, collaborative cooking spaces or ¨co-kitchen¨, and a bar of “show cooking” as a stage by renowned chefs from around the world.
