“Agro” is one of the four multidisciplinary projects of the Food Design group formed between Elisava and Espai Sucre, which proposes how two usually distant areas such as gastronomy and design can be united, with the aim of formalizing four different gastronomic experiences.
The project is based on the promotion of traditional markets through the consumption of local and seasonal products. Addressing the problem of poor marketing of these products, i.e. km0 products. As well as the waste of the food itself. To this end, a different and educational way of entering the world of haute cuisine is proposed through an experience within the market where the user acquires knowledge through the local products of the moment, with the aim of raising awareness among users to subsequently improve their eating habits and be more aware when acquiring food as well as when cooking and eating them.
