Sound & Vision #14 – Neus Arqués and Jordi Meya
The writer and translator Neus Arqués and the music journalist Jordi Meya explain to David Sabaté some of the keys to ‘Veus de foc’ (Editorial Alrevés), the first four-handed novel by the two that narrates the rise and fall of Juan Vicente Llorens, leader of the band Los Truenos, in Spain in the 1970s. Together they talk, among many other topics, about the myth of “drugs, sex and rock’n’roll”, the importance of pursuing one’s dreams, but also of keeping the feet on the ground, or the ins and outs of the music industry.
