The ei! Awards, created to stimulate the creativity of ELISAVA students and disseminate their talent and their competitiveness in society as a whole, have just celebrated their seventh edition. Among all the Final Projects presented by the students of the 2017-2018 promotion, the Jury has recognized, divided by categories, the following projects:
Winners of the ELISAVA's ei! Awards 2018
To provide a viable, sustainable and humanitarian solution to a real need, impacting very positively on the territory. The proposal, beyond solving a problem of space, presents the creation of a versatile and hybrid structure that allows to generate different environments for different uses. With this, a range of possibilities is opened for the implementation of similar solutions in other areas in order to promote social cohesion and to claim the public use of the common space.
La normalidad virtual, by Ester Arrebola Vega
For the critical reflection on our relationship with the digital environment and the excellent communicative quality of the pieces presented, especially the audiovisual ones. The author has been able to find the ideal languages and formats to express their reflections in a simple, clear and direct way.
Globulus, by Jordi Farreras Casado
Due to the social relevance of the project and the globality with which it is focused. The project effectively resolves a real and daily situation / problematic in a very complete and rigorous manner, providing a novel and tangible solution that, in addition, is viable and easy to implement. In addition, the project responds to needs beyond the presented briefing, demonstrating a great capacity for analysis and innovation. Also for the effort of the student to make a synthetic presentation, very well contextualized and close.
Asimetrías, by Laia Amigo Ayats
For the quality of the design process beyond the final result. The author has done a thorough research process and has used a variety of forms, supports and languages to document his process. It is an ode to craft, exempt from prejudices and centered on the footprint of the human being in the final object.
Overlap, by Oriol Germà Latorre
Due to the innovative nature of the project and the viability of the product. The author has created a product that changes the rules of the game; a product that innovates disruptively in its category and that resolves the real need of a collective through a wearable. In addition, the product that it presents is functional and viable at the production level.

To raise a new paradigm in the textile industry sector, from an applicable and practical perspective, not speculative. The author has defined the process of development and manufacture of the product and all its phases in a rigorous and well documented way. In addition, this is a project that can be continued due to the great potential of application.
