Undergraduate students and Open Arms NGO explore new forms of protest communication

Elisava has been working for four months in a strategic project of practical research alongside the NGO Proactive Open Arms. In this context, a team of professors from the faculty, a group of undergraduate students and the NGO's pedagogical unit are exploring other means of protest communication in the city of Barcelona.

The collaboration sets sail with the aim of exploring the present and future of activist communication with generation Z and in defense of human rights in the Catalan capital. Similarly to the NGO's new rescue ship, Open Arms Uno, Elisava joins the Open Arms initiative by contributing its research experience and all its critical thinking.

The presentation of the results the present research will take place during the month of July, a few days after Oscar Camps, leader of Proactive Open Arms, will be named Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC), of which Elisava is a member.
