Jessica Sandoval from Master in Packaging Design, finalist at Student Package Design Olympac Tokyo 2019

Jessica Sandoval Ocampo, student of the Master in Packaging Design at Elisava has been finalist at the Student Package Design Olympac Tokyo 2019 (ASPaC) competition. A total of 18 students from different parts of the world competed, one per country.

ASPaC was exclusively a local competition, but this year 5 European countries have been invited, including Spain. Therefore, Jessica Sandoval was the only participant from our country.

The contestants created a packaging design that was representative of their country, using their own computer, in the same pavilion where the award ceremony was held. The aim was for students to practice their creativity and enjoy the satisfaction and spirit of improvement that come with completing a packaging design in a limited time. The winners of the competition, selected by a jury, have won a gold, silver or bronze medal and an economic retribution.
