Jessica Fernández, head of the Project Area of the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and director of the Master's Degree in Engineering at ELISAVA, has participated in the 1st edition of #TechTalks de Mujeres Tech in Barcelona, which has brought together many experts in technology.
Under the title Grafeno. Nanomaterial sin límite creativo’, Jessica has explained how the knowledge of a new scale of matter, the nano, is opening a paradigm of technological design much more creative and disruptive than the historical precedents of this field.
It brings together people, nanotechnology, dystopia and design for the speculation of possible future scenarios, a subject linked to the research field of Jessica Fernandez, as shown by some of the projects that she supervises within the framework of ELISAVA, such as Smart Skin or Glufo, among others.
