Elisava's statement October 14

After the court ruling that has been made public this morning, the Private Foundation Elisava University School wants to express its concern about the situation that is being experienced in Catalonia.

The community of Elisava groups many people (students, alumni, teaching and administration and services staff) with a very varied ideological diversity, a reflection of a plural society such as ours.

We understand, in this sense, that the discussion and the confrontation of ideas from respect to the other, in a reasoned and always peaceful way, are an inherent part of the mission and values of our Institution, which is why we firmly believe that dialogue is the only possible way to face the present and future challenges.

Finally, in Elisava we guarantee both the free exercise of the right of protest of all the members of our community, while defending the right to education for all those who want to attend class.
