Guillermo Fernández, Elisava Alumni of the Master in Photography Design, has been selected to participate in the new edition of the KBr Flama exhibition at the Mapfre Foundation in Barcelona.

His project Los Santos inocentes explores Granada, the city of the Alhambra, one of the most visited cities in Europe and also one of the hardest hit by the effects of the economic crisis; a crisis that hit a whole generation of young people who will go down in history as "the lost generation", forced to make a living behind the back of the system.

The project is based on a succession of current images combined with old texts taken from the novel Los santos inocentes by Miguel Delibes, which tells the story of the passage from night to day in one of the rural areas near Granada.

The previous edition of KBr Flama, held at the KBr Photography Center of the Mapfre Foundation in Barcelona until mid-January, has also included the work of a former student of Elisava's Master in Photography and Design, the photographer Gunnlöð Jóna Rúnarsdóttir. The KBr Flama initiative aims to support emerging creation and new generations of photographers who are starting their professional careers after having been trained in photography schools in Barcelona.
