How to apply

Presentation

Elisava presents, in collaboration with ISEC Lisbon. Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências, through its International Study and Research Center TGRAF ISEC Lisbon, the Postgraduate Diploma in Communication Management of an Applied Design Project.

This is a programme that allows you to accredit the professional skills that are developed in an Elisava Master’s programme, and transform them into academic/scientific skills, so that you can incorporate them into your future research career.

Thus, this programme is a complement to all of its Elisava Master’s programmes, with the aim that the student learns to:

  • Manage the professional content of an applied design project.
  • Communicate the research activity carried out from a scientific perspective.

With this, the student manages to expand his/her professional or academic opportunities to:

  • Be part of a work team in the research, development and innovation department.
  • Increase your ECTS credits to have the possibility of applying for a higher level program to advance your research career.

The Mention in Research program is designed as a complement, to facilitate the student’s work through methodological tools, which will help them exhaustively explore the professional content developed in the Elisava master’s degree. Subsequently, it helps you generate unpublished and relevant information and data that can be applied in the evaluation of the results and their subsequent scientific communication. Therefore, the Mention in Research program will give you:

  • Prove your professional and academic skills.
  • Structure your work so that you are able to develop these two programs in parallel.
  • Design the dissemination of the results of your research from the dual perspective (professional/scientific).

This programme is carried out in Spanish and English, depending on the student’s preferred language. It is developed in blended and autonomous mode, with the possibility of distance learning for candidates who are in another country.

At Elisava we have many other master and postgraduate programmes, find the most suitable design master for you.

Mention in Research programme
1 Explore professional content

The student has the option of validating 24 ECTS. These are recorded through the monitoring and evaluation of the activity developed in the Elisava master’s degree. It is a flexible process that takes into account the academic assessment of the professional content explored, and the generation of the applied design project developed as a result.

2 Scientific communication of applied research in design

The remaining 36 ECTS are evaluated through student monitoring. Based on its own schedule and synchronized with the evolution of the master’s degree, the professional content of the research will be worked on. The purpose is to write a theoretical report that argues applied research in design from a scientific perspective.
