Máster en Interacción Humana e Inteligencia Artificial Memory, Lluís Beso

Master in Human Interaction and AI

The artificial intelligence is no longer just an occurrence of science fiction; it surrounds us, making our lives easier. Our challenge now is adapting it to ever-evolving new business and human needs, with social and environmental responsibility.

Apply now

Presentation

The Master in Human Interaction and Artificial Intelligence is the natural evolution of software development. Per its definition, it should be able to learn and develop on its own, to enhance processes and achieve a high level of independence in its tasks, instead of just performing them repetitively. Although up until now, object-oriented programming and computer-human interaction have coexisted as two separate entities, the need of combining the two disciplines has become more and more evident. The tools and skills needed to create AI are merging into a single profession.

The Master in Human Interaction and Artificial Intelligence allows us to explore the different aspects of creating, designing, and applying this technology. Still, taking it beyond, by making it consistent with human values and social responsibility and looking far into the future to come up with all the possibilities we can’t even start to imagine now.

Thus, this programme provides students with the knowledge to understand business needs, social responsibility and human needs with use cases that ultimately become AI.

Access and Admission Requirements: Official university degree or equivalent in design, engineering, architecture or art.

Master in Human Interaction and Artificial Intelligence programme

1 Introduction to artificial intelligence and interaction design

Overview of artificial intelligence. The intelligence and context of the economic and technological environment that characterizes it.

2 Design and development of interactions

We’ll get familiar with web and mobile development concepts, AMP, PWA, JAM STACK, hybrid development, and some of the more popular environments.

3 Fundamentals of cognitive science and design

We will explore the impact of human psychology and physiology on technological design and evolution. We will examine fundamental human drives and the role of the mind and emotions in the decision-making process.

4 Machine learning and neural network models

Practical approach to creating engaging users and frictionless interfaces. Module closely related to user-centered technology, strategic content and interface development. We will design prototypes, wireframes and detailed user interfaces.

5 User experience architectures

We will learn to run usability tests in scalable lab formats with real users. We will also write test scripts, facilitate and evaluate the results to ensure that the solution meets your objectives.

6 Principles of AI

Artificial intelligence has become an increasingly impactful discipline in science and technology. AI applications are embedded in the infrastructure of many products and industries, from search engines, medical diagnostics, speech recognition, robot control, web search, advertising and even toys.

7 Final Master’s Project

Implementation of an AI project. We will obtain the appropriate tools and knowledge to define and solve problems innovatively and collaboratively.
