Verallia has awarded two projects by the students of the Master in Packaging Design in its XI Edition of the Glass Design and Creation Contest, a joint call between Spain and Portugal, in which 160 students from 13 schools have participated.
The challenge of this edition was to innovate in glass containers to create a unique and different product under a theme marked by the concept of product customization as a facilitator of attraction to consumers. The students Cristina Eirea, Pámela Ruiz and Gonzalo Chaves have won the first prize, valued at €2,500, with their project Kausay, while Insòlit, by the student Paulina Kulyk, has been awarded in second place with €1,300.
Glass bottle for liquors with designation of origin that are exported, in this case, Peruvian pisco. The students have been inspired by the ceramics of the Paracas culture. This culture developed in the department of Ica – Peru and spread to cover different territories including the city of Pisco, where the liquor that bears its name originates. The project covered all phases of market launch and was the most acclaimed by the jury.
Olive oil bottle with a design inspired by an everyday but surprising phenomenon: oil stains when poured on a surface. Beyond their ephemeral nature, these stains contain an aesthetic and conceptual richness that awakens creativity.
