‘Hopi’, project by students of the Master in Packaging Design, winner of the Liderpack Awards
The Liderpack Awards have awarded in its students’ category, denominated ‘Youth Design’, the project Hopi, designed by students of the Master in Packaging Design Anna Catalayud, María Gómez and Sílvia Serrat.
Hopi proposes a refillable container solution for personal hygiene products made by 100% recycled and recyclable materials. It has two containers fit together that, when separated, allow its domestic use (major format) or its use outside the home (travel format).
Hopi has stood out from the 18 contestant projects in this category, finalists of the XIII Premios Nacionales de Diseño y Sostenibilidad de Envase y Envalaje, organized by the Clúster de Innovación en Envase y Embalaje in Valencia.
Hopi and the other five awarded projects in the ‘Youth Design’ category will take part automatically in the WorldStar Student Awards, the packaging contest for students around the world.
The ceremony of the Lidepack Awards 2023 will take place the upcoming month of May in the venue Gran Via of Fira de Barcelona during the celebration of Hispack 2024, the biggest fair of Packaging in Spain and one of the first three in Europe in its specialization.
Organized by the Spanish Association of Packaging of Graphispack Asociación and the Hispack show of Fira de Barcelona since 1995, the Liderpack Awards are the most important ones awarded in Spain in the area of packaging.
