Espai Formica, a collaborative academic and professional project by Elisava for the Formica Group
Espai Formica Group, a place to belong is a collaborative academic and professional project developed by Elisava and Rhode Island School of Design for the company Formica displayed at Nau Bostik during the Barcelona Design Week 2022.
Led by the Madrid and New York based design studio müsing –sellés, the space has been designed entirely with Formica® high-pressure laminates, enhancing the versatility and capacity of the material to create multipurpose atmospheres and architectural spaces. Through the combination of metallic finishes and a vivid monochromatic finish, it is a space full of nuances and contrasts challenging what collective belonging means within Barcelona.
