Elisava’s ERT-mobility team wins the CIAC Talent Award at the Automotive Talent Show
The ERT-mobility team, formed by students of the Bachelor in Industrial Design Engineering and led by Elisabet Albinyana, has won the CIAC Talent Award in the logistics category at the Automotive Talent Show 2024, held at the Montmeló Circuit. The award recognised their project for a personal mobility vehicle. In order to win this award, Albinyana had to make an elevator pitch explaining the project.
‘Nem’, the winning project, is an autonomous personal mobility vehicle specifically designed to solve one of the key challenges of urban mobility: the last mile. ‘Nem’ is more than just a mere means of transport; it is also an efficient and sustainable extension of the public transport system, falling within the concept of Mobility as a Service (MasS). This project is innovative because it creates a triple impact on the current urban fabric: efficient inventory management, flexibility, and accessibility in mobility and full integration into public transport.
This fourth edition of the Automotive Talent Show, organised by the Clúster de la Indústria d’Automoció de Catalunya (CIAC), brought together more than 1200 participants, including companies and students from all over the country. The event has established itself as an essential meeting point between young talent and leading companies in the automotive sector.
This year, the CIAC Talent Awards have doubled their participation compared to the previous year, with a total of 160 entries from all over Spain, distributing up to 7,000 euros in prizes.
