Elisava signs a collaboration agreement with PIMEC to improve Catalan business competitiveness

Elisava’s Managing Director, Javier Peña, and PIMEC‘s Secretary General, Josep Ginesta, have signed a collaboration agreement between both entities, which will allow micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Catalonia to improve their productive fabric.
The agreement between the university and the institution will focus on promoting and disseminating these companies’ activity regarding creativity and design, and how this can have a positive impact on their production. To achieve this, Catalan MSMEs will be provided with the necessary tools to face current social, environmental and economic challenges, among other measures.
As a result of this agreement, Elisava and PIMEC will collaborate in cooperation, development and promotion programmes to generate synergies between both parties, either through Elisava students’ Final Degree Projects with companies, In-Company trainings or other professional projects, or through European research projects, industrial doctorates or field studies. In this context, spaces for debate, seminars and conferences will also be promoted, as well as internships between Catalan MSMEs and Elisava students.
