Elisava launches the new International Master in Human Economy
EElisava presents the new International Master’s in Human Economy (+link), a new academic programme launched following the signing of an agreement involving Dr. Josep Eladi Baños Díez, UVic-UCC rector; Dr. Josep Ayats Bansells, the UVic-UCC rector’s representative for continuing education; Dr. Javier Peña, ELISAVA’s general director; and professor Santiago Albert, ELISAVA’s Director of Master and Postgraduate programmes and Longlife Learning. Representing Human Economy, there were Ferran Caudet, CEO and cofounder; Teresa Rodeja, MIEH’s director and cofounder; Maribel Guzmán, communication director and cofounder; and Leticia Torres, part of the partnerships team.
This new master’s degree offers an innovative vision of economics and leadership, aimed at training professionals capable of understanding and managing complexity from a more human, conscious and transformative perspective. The programme is designed to explore new approaches to leadership and decision-making in changing environments, integrating analytical tools, intuition and critical thinking.
Throughout the master’s, students will develop key capabilities such as:
- Understanding complex economic systems from a human-centred perspective
- Conscious leadership in uncertain environments
- Innovation in organisational and social models
- Integrating purpose, impact and decision-making
The programme offers a learning journey focused on practice and real transformation, combining theoretical knowledge, experience and application in professional contexts.
It is aimed at executives, professionals, entrepreneurs and changemakers seeking to expand their capacity for impact within their organisations and communities.
The master’s programme will begin in March 2027 and will be delivered online, facilitating participation from an international audience.
